Sheet Music for Some of Our Songs

Often folk musicians play by ear, thus making sheet music of some folksongs hard to find. There are many websites on line which provide lyrics and guitar chords for folksongs, but far fewer which provide sheet music or a written score.

Because Sandy sings close harmony to Bruce, who usually sings the melody, we need to work with a written score, and over the years have compiled a small collection of sheet music for some of the folksongs we perform. Pete Seeger once said, "Folk music is just what the folk sing." So in the spirit of a common musical heritage we offer to share with you some of the sheet music we have compiled. Some scores are hand-written, others are typed. They usually include guitar chords and the first verse. If you would like more lyrics, or perhaps the score as as ASCII.text file, just e-mail us.
